COLUMBIA, SC – In observance of Sickle Cell Disease Awareness Month, which is September, the South Carolina Department of Public Health (DPH) encourages people living with sickle cell disease (SCD) to adopt healthy daily habits that complement medical care and strengthen overall well-being.
