The South Carolina Department of Public Health (DPH) is observing National Health Education Week (Oct. 19-23) by recognizing the critical work of the agency’s community engagement staff in the communities they serve.  

Celebrated annually during the third week of October, National Health Education Week aims to increase national awareness on major public health issues and promote a better understanding of the role of health education.
